One profound trait of our God is His infinite foreknowledge, surpassing human understanding. This attribute sets Him apart as the only Omniscient God.
The future can be perplexing and uncertain, often causing us worry and fear due to our limited discernment.
However, God’s perspective is limitless. In Isaiah 46:10, He declares:
“I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times what is still to come. I say, my purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.”
Our assurance about the unknown future lies in trusting the all-knowing God. As Isaiah 14:24 states:
“Surely as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.”
When we acknowledge God’s Omniscience, we can trust that He works all things together for our good.
Faith begins where human power ends. If we believe God has our best interest in mind and pray for His will to be done, we’ll trust He’s working out something best for us, even amidst painful events.
Prayer
“Lord, I may not understand all You do in my life, but I trust You have my best interest in mind. Help me believe that, no matter the unknown future, my life is in Your hands.”
