Behind every masterpiece, there is an artist who has poured their heart and soul into the work.
Behind every groundbreaking innovation, there is a team or individual who has worked tirelessly to bring the idea to life.
And behind every expert or master in their field, there is a person who has dedicated themselves to years of practice and learning.
Every creation, idea, or entity has a creator or originator behind it. This principle is rooted in the very foundation of our world:
“In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1
At that moment, like a great artist, the Lord our God brought the vision of the earth to life. He formed it, fashioned it, shaped it, molded it, refined it, and perfected it.
He is described in these words:
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” — Revelation 4:11
The Lord is great. He deserves our worship and adoration. He is worthy of praise and reverence. We are called to give Him glory and honour and to acknowledge His power and majesty—because He is our Creator.
Reflection
God, as the Creator of the heavens, the earth, and all that is within them, deserves our highest worship. He alone is the great Author of creation and the source of our very existence.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to give You the rightful place in my life as Creator. May I offer You the honour and reverence You deserve and always place You first in all I do.
